Situated outside the site gates there is chip shops, restaurants, mini-supermarket, cafes, and a public phone box. There is also a bus stop for those of you that choose to venture into Skegness Town which is host to the Seal Sanctuary as well as many other attractions.
Across the road from the site entrance there is the BARN WHICH IS SITED IN STEVENSONS that provides entertainment for all the family. Approx 3mins walk from the BARN you have got the Anchor pub also situated on the corner of Anchor Lane/Roman Bank there is the Bell Inn Public House, like the Anchor it also provides entertainment for all the family. Right next to the Bell Inn pub there is a public car park with public conveniences that also cater for the disabled. Just over the embankment you will find the beach for those who just want to pass the day by and catch a little sun and a breath of fresh sea air. Only joking about the sun! After all this is England.
For those of you that fancy a little walk, you will find Lakeside Leisure approx 10-15mins away up the beach towards Chapel St Leonards. For those anglers amongst you that don't fancy trekking very far, you can take a left out of Silver Beach and approx 50-100yds up Anchor Lane you will come across Waterside Caravan Park. Waterside is home to two fishing lakes, one which stocks carp between 5lb-25lb plus and the other lake has a mixed stock of fish. Day tickets can be purchased at the site office at the price of £4.00 or on the bank at the price of £5.00 for adults and Juniors and £2.50 for under 15's. Waterside do have their own site rules so please observe them carefully and adhere to them.

If your the type that doesn't have that sporting blood in you then I think I've got just the tonic for you. Take a right out of Silver Beach, go along Anchor lane towards Roman Bank, then following Roman Bank for about one mile you will stumble across Fantasy Island. It is home to one of the largest outdoor markets around. This is the place to be if your in need of a little retail therapy whilst still enjoying your holiday. It also hosts a vast number of funfair attractions that will keep the kids entertained for a long time. Also in the area there are plenty of pubs, cafes, shops and many other places to visit. In the unlikely event that you run short of money there are cash machines situated close by but watch the ones that charge you an arm and a leg, there is some free ones honest.
Nearly forgot don't forget to visit hardy's animal farm turn left out of Silver beach 3mins walk up the road and you are there it's great for the kids and the big kids, loads to do there's feeding the animals, petting them, horse and cart ride, cafe (you got to try the ice cream yum yum!!) and a park. check out www.hardysanimalfarm.co.uk
